To me one of the signs that technology is becoming mainstream is that used equipment is available on the market. Today I took a quick look on Ebay and found several 3D printers for sale.

The availability of these machines on Ebay is encouraging. Especially since Ebay is not the location to buy and sell industrial equipment. I expect more machines are sold via the 3D printing community at large and distributors themselves.
